Pharrell is celebrating his 50th birthday, much to fans’ delight and disbelief given his ultra-youthful appearance.

On Wednesday (April 5), fans took to Twitter to extend their earnest birthday wishes to Skateboard P, laced with shock and awe as the veteran hitmaker has barely aged a day since he entered the music business in the early 1990s.

In 2020, the Grammy Award-winning musician shared his daily skincare regime in a video with Vogue, revealing at least one secret behind his ageless appearance.

In the clip, Pharrell used various products from his Humanrace skincare line, which he also released in the same year.

In partnership with his longtime dermatologist Elena Jones, Humanrace products include cleansers, creams, exfoliators and more, each with an environmentally-friendly removable inner chamber that can be exchanged for a refill when the product runs out.

The Neptunes hitmaker shared other aspects of his skincare routine in a 2017 interview with Dazed, including his love for exfoliation and water.

“I exfoliate like a madman,” he said. “When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you. To me, the key is just exfoliating, like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin. All the time. Like a narcissistic madman.”

Aside from his age-defying 50th birthday, Pharrell is also being celebrated for his musical contributions. The Virginia native will be honored at the 2023 Grammys on the Hill Awards later this month, according to Billboard.

“I’m very grateful to be honored at this year’s Grammys on the Hill among some incredible other honorees who have done tremendous advocacy work for others,” Williams said in a statement. “It’s important that we show up for each other and support one another to ensure that we can keep creating.”
