Philadelphia, Pennsylvania emcee Peedi Crakk (a/k/a Peedi Peedi) has appeared on the last three albums from hometown neighbors The Roots. From verses on Game Theory, Rising Down and How I Got Over, the former State Property emcee and Roc-A-Fella Records artist has long been rumored to have a onetime invitation to join the legendary Hip Hop band led by ?uestlove and Black Thought.
After being released from a felony sentence in prison last year, Peedi Crakk clarified this four-plus-year rumor with Forbez DVD. “Yo, you know what? It was never was talked about me with me joining The Roots,” said Peedi. “It’s just that the public [was] always consistently seein’ me on Roots projects – three Roots albums.” The emcee also spoke about sharing a studio with the crew he referred to as “family.” “I could go to Larry Gold Studios right now and just go in there and record something and just leave it there for Black Thought. He’ll just lay a verse and it might end up on [a Roots album]. That’s how most of them joints I’m on happened. They just came from songs that I left there.”
Larry Gold, located in Philadelphia, has been a longtime recording home to The Roots, as well as artists like Dice Raw and Jazmine Sullivan. Last year, Peedi Crakk appeared on How I Got Over‘s “Web 20/20.”

not that i think he should ever be part of the Roots crew, but his verses on the last three albums were all pretty fucking good.
Man get your team together, get yourself right man and drop that continous heat we know you got.
