He said: “I didn’t know I was white ’til white people told me I was white. They was like, ‘You white. Why you talk and act like that? You white.’ And I’m like, ‘What do you mean?’”

Wall admitted that it wasn’t until he reached “elementary school or middle school” when he had the realization about his ethnicity.

The “Sittin’ Sidewayz” rapper added: “I mean, all my friends were Black, Mexican or Asian. I lived in a very diverse neighborhood, there were white people there, but it was Mexican, Black, Vietnamese, Indian… A lot of everything. So, we got a great mixture of growing up in America, I guess.”

Wall also joked about his mother taking a DNA test and the results coming back that she was three percent African: “I know she can’t say the N-word. That ain’t enough for her to say the N-word!”

Last year, Paul Wall showed off his dramatic weight loss as well as a head of gray hair.

He admitted that he had insecurities about going gray from an early age, telling TMZ: “I remember my bro Nelly and Ali pulling me to the side and saying, ‘Aye, bruh, you gotta do something about those grays, they showing out!’

“But honestly, I always had insecurities and hang-ups about my gray hair as a younger person. Now, I don’t mean to be ageist or any of that, but once I hit 40, it just felt like being gray was more age-appropriate.”

He added: “So as soon as I hit 40, I swear, all my hang-ups, insecurities, they went out the window … I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’m letting them grays show!’”
