Paul Pierce isn’t the only person currently defending Ja Morant. Rapper Boosie Badazz called out sports host Skip Bayless on Twitter on Tuesday (March 7) for assuming that Ja Morant was a Crip member.
“STOP @RealSkipBayless Don’t build the narrative that he’s a real gang member SMH HE NOT NO CRIP HE A PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER who made a mistake,” Boosie emphasized toward the brash media member.
Skip Bayless made the troubling comments about the Grizzlies superstar on Monday’s episode of of UNDISPUTED on FS1.
They’re asking me, ‘Are you sure he’s not that?’ Like, that’s just who he is, that he is about that life.’ And remember, he’s thrown up the Crips sign, I’ve seen him throw it up two or three times, I’ve probably missed some other times,” Skip said.

“What does that mean? Does that mean he wants to associate with the Crips? Or he got initiated by the Crips? Or he has a dream of being a Crip? I don’t know. I’m just throwing this out.
