The Brooklyn-bred MC’s 12-track project features production by DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Statik Selektah and more. Guests include his wife Remy Ma, Musiq Soulchild and Casanova.

I don’t get why there are always so many haters on Papoose articles. He’s an amazing lyrical talent who never managed to get his career off the ground like he should have. He never really kept a balance between good songs and dope bars, it was always generic ass beats but his lyricism was deadly (probably still is but honestly I tuned out of his career after his first album). But that doesn’t explain the apparent hostility.

Underrated? He never made a classic. Yes he has skillz but has a boring voice and delivery. Besides that he doesnt set new trends. He is stuck in the 90’s.
I guess you would prefer him to start mumble rhyming over some drill music or some pop beat. Maybe you would prefer for him to start singing like Drake, do some kanye west shit, or start talking about how his mom does more drugs than him? Outside of Pusha T and Jay Z, Pap would destroy any top rapper from 2018. You probably dont know about actual hard rock
hip hop. Many valid MCs(that actually capture the essence of hip hop) recognize and praise Papoose’ skills. Your favorite rapper is scared to battle him/No Mc wants to come for him; his ability to destroy is the reason. Commercial/business rap dont like or want him because he is not watered down. You can’t relate because you’re too involved with weirdo rappers and their platinum awards.

damn Pap what happened? Album starts off strong AF then dies after track 5. then for some reason ends with a hard song after a bunch of soft/jiggy songs.
