It has been a while since an emcee has impressed me as much as Edan. He seemingly combines and embodies the styles from old school greats like Rakim and Big Daddy Kane while he is clearly a new breed of emcee. He has got great wordplay, incredible mic acrobatics and hilarious rhymes. Check songs like “Drop Some Smooth Lyrics,” “Sing It Shitface,” and “Emcees You Suck.”
His debut album “Primitive Plus” was supposed to drop yesterday but was delayed because the pressing was not approved. Several sites promoting the album have reported that as of today the pressing has been approved and the album should be ready for shipping a couple weeks.
