NLE Choppa has turned up safe just a few hours after his mother, Angela Potts — who is also the Memphis native’s manager — sounded the social media alarm about his disappearance.

Taking to her Instagram on Friday (October 20), Potts revealed that she’d finally heard from her beloved son, and that he just needed some time to get his thoughts together, in a post she titled, “mother’s work is never done.”

“Thank you for the PRAYERS and SUPPORT,” she wrote in the post. “Choppa’s ok he just needed a minute, but didn’t communicate it to his loved ones. I never intended to scare anyone with my post nor did I expect for people to think he’s missing. But the frustrations of being the mother of a celebrity can be overwhelming at times.”

Take a look at her post below.

On Friday (October 20), Potts hadn’t heard from her son in a few hours, and she asked for the public’s help in finding out where he might be.

Taking to Instagram, Potts revealed that her son was in the process of moving, and it’s something she’s not happy about.

She also feared that something terrible might have happened to him, as she’d not spoken to him for “a few hours,” which is unusual in their relationship.

“Y’all help me pray over my child,” she wrote. “He plans on moving back to Cottonwood where we worked hard to get out of just for a mixtape SMH! I ain’t talked to this boy in hours and he usually doesn’t do this.”

She continued: “One thing I know about my son is that he doesn’t go ghost for any reason. Whatever you’re working on I pray GOD is guiding you. If y’all hear from him PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP! To the fans he wants to please thanks a lot.”

There was a similar message posted on NLE Choppa’s Instagram Stories and Twitter account, encouraging the Memphis rapper’s fans to get in touch with Potts if they’ve seen or heard from the rapper.
