NLE Choppa has always been very vocal about his Lil Wayne fandom, and after previously gifting Weezy a custom skate deck, he’s now upped the ante with a custom chain.

The chaining day went down on Thursday (April 13) during the Boston stop of Wayne’s Welcome To Tha Carter tour. NLE Choppa appeared as a special guest and the pair performed their collab “Ain’t Gonna Answer.”

Before NLE left the stage, the young rapper showed Lil Wayne a token of his appreciation. “One second before I head out right. I wanna show my appreciation for you,” he told Wayne. “Aye look, I remember with the flowers. There was value with the flowers but it was something I really wanted give you instead of the flowers today, aight. So let me make sure you right real fast.”

He then gifted Wayne a chain that featured the New Orleans rapper as all four heads on Mount Rushmore, to which he said, “I appreciate that shit. Hell yeah.”

As Choppa mentioned, he previously gave Wayne his physical flowers — along with the aforementioned skate deck — on the set of the video for “Ain’t Gonna Answer” in February.

“First and foremost, I feel like accolades never define the artist,” NLE started out while handing Wayne the flowers. “But me personally, I feel like you supposed to have way more accolades at your weight. You [inaudible] to a point in time to where you just receiving accolades. I think it was a few days ago, you won an award.”

He continued: “So man I just wanted to present my own accolade, physically giving you flowers and a note to let you know how much you inspired me and impacted my life. I have a skateboard too that I signed. I know you like to skateboard.”

“I appreciate that,” Lil Wayne responded. “This is my life right here. For real, for real. Whatever cameras, if y’all watching – be like this guy, man. Be like this guy. He’s a good guy, man. For real. I do this a lot. I’m on video sets a lot – new artists, old artists. This doesn’t happen. This doesn’t happen. He’s a great guy.”

Wayne has been having quite a few special moments as of late – like finally performing the 2006 track “Suck It Or Not” with Cam’ron for the first ever.

The major Hip Hop moment went down when Weezy’s tour stopped at the Apollo Theater in Harlem on Sunday night (April 16). Cam was excited as the fans were to see the collab live, parting the stage with, “Weezy, I love you! It’s the first time we ever performed this, n-gga!”
