Nitty Scott, MC Supports Iggy Azalea But Doesn’t Believe She Deserves “Best Rap Album” Grammy

The words “Iggy Azalea” and “Grammy Award victory” generate a lot of controversy in the Hip Hop realm.

Nitty Scott, MC, a fellow female in Hip Hop, recently sat down with DX Daily and talked about Iggy Azalea’s participation in Hip Hop and her Grammy nomination.

“I can’t say that I’m a fan but I wont say that she didn’t have a great year as far as really getting out there,” Nitty said, when asked about Iggy. “I don’t think that’s deniable. But, my personal opinion, do I think that that album deserves to win? I can’t say that I do.”

She followed by supporting Iggy’s presence in Hip Hop, explaining that the more women participating, the better.

“I do respect women being out here and having a presence and she’s a part of that so that aspect of it I definitely support,” she said.

Nitty Scott, MC recently spoke with Hot 97’s Ebro about Hip Hop and feminism and has been a known pundit about Hip Hop culture, music and sexual expression.
