Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have reunited for their first collaboration in seven years.

Minaj was expected to be on her former Young Money boss’ latest album Tha Carter VI and while she did not make the final tracklist, the duo have hooked up for a remix of “Banned from NO” from the project.

The Trinidad born rapper puts on a NBA heavy verse with references to the ongoing Finals as well as NFL legend turned controversial media personality Shannon Sharpe.

On the track, she raps: “If I send a pic of Shannon you ain’t that Sharpe / Cause you still can’t spell Prague and that’s horrible.”

Minaj spat: “NFL, fire some n-ggas and then call us.”

The “Anaconda” rapper has been one of the most vocal critics of the NFL’s decision to overlook Wayne in favor of Kendrick Lamar.

Minaj appeared to specifically blame JAY-Z for the call, slamming him for working with the NFL: “One n-gga took a knee. The other n-gga took the bag. He gon get you ‘n-ggers’ in line every fkng time.”

She continued taking shots, saying that JAY was in business with “the Politicians and the police”: “Got everything in the world. Still spiteful & evil,” she wrote. “Disgusting.”

She then directly addressed what she viewed as the root of the issue: that what she called JAY’s “hatred” of her, Drake, and Birdman led to him denying Wayne a showcase he deserved.

He said: “That hurt. It hurt a lot. You know what I’m talking about. It hurt a whole lot. I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown, and for automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that was my position. So I blame myself for that.

“But I thought that was nothing better than that spot and that stage and that platform in my city, so it hurt. It hurt a whole lot. But y’all are fucking amazing. It made me feel like shit not getting this opportunity and when I felt like shit, you guys reminded me that I ain’t shit without y’all… and that’s an amazing reality.”
