Nick Cannon and Abby De La Rosa have opened up about their son Zillion’s recent autism diagnosis.
In a joint Instagram post shared on Tuesday (April 2), Cannon and De La Rosa wrote: “Today our family recognizes World Autism Awareness Day which is beyond meaningful to us because our amazing 2 year old, Zillion, was recently diagnosed with ASD.”

The CDC defines Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a developmental disability stemming from variations in brain function.
Individuals with ASD may exhibit unique behaviors, communication patterns, social interactions, and learning styles compared to others.

The proud parents then listed a number of influential figures who were also on the spectrum, including Niko Telsa, Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Michael Angelo, before adding: “Our beautiful boy experiences life in 4D and teaches us something new everyday!”
“His love, strength and brilliance light up every room he enters! We are blessed that God had placed such an amazing spirit under our guardianship and we have accepted this assignment wholeheartedly!” the sweet message continued.

Nick Cannon, who is a father of 11, recently showcased his unwavering pride during a heartwarming Valentine’s Day outing with his daughter Monroe.
The Hip Hop personality shared three photos on Instagram, captioning the carousel with an emphatic approval of the evening.

The first photo featured a table with food on it and two pictures of Cannon and the daughter he shares with Mariah Carey. The second photo was of a dessert treat, and the third was of Monroe in front of a neon sign that reads “All you need is Love.”
