News in B.I.G. Murder Case

    According
to The Los Angeles Times, new documents have surfaced proving that the
Notorious B.I.G. (born Christopher Wallace) was not murdered by a rogue police
officer, a theory that LAPD detective Russell Poole put together.

    According to
Poole, former police officer David A. Mack was hired by Suge Knight to kill the
rapper in retaliation to the earlier murder of Tupac Shakur.

    The
LA Times reports that the new documents disprove several aspects of
Poole’s theory; particularly that Mack offered another officer a security position
    working for Knight.

    The
Wallace Family has refilled the wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Los
Angeles after it previously ended in a mistrial in 2005.
