As reported last week [click to read], Twista will be hosting an event gaming event tomorrow in Chicago. The event, a Spoon, will begin a 6:30 PM CST. There, the legendary hometown emcee will be joined by Chicago Blackhawk Dustin Byfuglien.
As seen in his HipHopDX blogs [click to view], Twista will join fans and gamers in playing NHL 2K9 and NHL 2009 on several consoles, in a night filled with food, drink and gaming. The rapper told DX Monday night, “We’re getting’ closer to the event now
and I’m puttin’ a little more time in on the game which I’m
really feelin’ so far. Definitely interested in seein’ what Dustin
has to say about the game cause you know he’s gonna be bringin’ a
whole different kind of input to the review with him being a hockey player. We’ve
also reached out to some college hockey team players to come out so they can
get involved with the event and we’ve got Kilo Kai rum holdin’ it
down for the event so whoever comes is taken good care of.“
DX readers will likely get a scoop as the week progresses.
