NBA YoungBoy already has a project under his belt this year, but now he’s announced details for his next album.
The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal his new album is titled I Just Got a Lot on My Shoulders.

He also gave his 2.5 million followers a look at the cover art, which finds him standing in front of a red background while wearing a red jacket, red hat, white jeans and red & white Jordan 1s.
“I just got a lot on my shoulder [top hat emoji] ?/?/24,” he simply wrote in the caption on Sunday (March 17).
NBA YoungBoy released his last project Compliments of Grave Digger Mountain earlier this month, serving as a compilation for his Never Broke Again imprint.
The body of work showcased himself, Quando Rondo, BBG Baby Joe, Lil Dump, Herm, Dej RoseGold, Vontina, Ddawg, WhoGangDee and Meechy Baby.

YoungBoy dropped a number of projects in 2023 including I Rest My Case, Don’t Try This at Home, Richest Opp and Decided 2, which were all released on Motown after completing his contract with Atlantic Records in 2022.
During an interview with Complex last year, NBA YoungBoy stated he’d made himself part of a “demonic” music industry.

“I learned it’s a demonic industry that I chose to be a part of,” he said. “So it’s like, I accept it. I run with it. But don’t be a dummy at the same time. You gotta understand, they’re using me as entertainment and this shit becomes self-destruction too. ‘Cause I ain’t an entertainer.”
He added: “You know, some shit can’t be spoke on. Why? Man, ’cause that shit, it’s to be continued.”
NBA Youngboy is currently under house arrest until the end of his federal gun case trial, which is expected to begin in July.
He was granted an amendment in December, allowing him to leave his residence for medical appointments.
