Mr.Cheeks Speaks: Tour and Lost Boyz

After dropping his solo debut John P. Kelly, Mr. Cheeks finds himself busier that ever these days. P. Diddy recently invited Cheeks to be a part of his opening act on the ‘NSYNC Celebrity tour. In May, Mr. Cheeks will gain his own opening slot on the highly anticipated Usher 8701 Evolution tour. “My manager was on his job”, Cheeks said, discussing how he landed a slot on the Usher tour. “However it came about, I’m just glad to be on it. I’ve never really been on no main tours like that.”

When asked about the Lost Boyz and a possible reunion, Cheeks readily tells waiting hip-hop heads what they have been up to. Preparing to drop their new album Take The Streets Back later this year on Cheeks on Indie label Dianne’s Boys, the Lost Boys hope to answer many lingering questions. “We got the first single called “Spit Flow”, and the next joint is “Everybody Asking”, he said. Everybody’s Asking, What’s up with ya’ll? We’re just letting them know we’re still doing it. We’re just working, really.” On this album fans will not only hear Cheeks, Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou, but some unreleased vocals of Freaky Tah as well.
