Mixtape Release Dates: Birdman & Mack Maine, T.I., 40 Cal, The Weeknd

In classic Internet-era Hip Hop fashion, a Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa holiday didn’t stop rappers and deejays from the release spirit.

The Rocksteady Crew’s DJ JS-1 made a holiday mix to finish out a year where his Ground Control 3: No One Cares album was an underground Hip Hop gem. Meanwhile, Slum Thugga dropped one of his signature tapes, as M-Rock did another tribute mix, this time to one of the greatest emcees of all time, Jay-Z.

As 2012 figures itself out, get a look at what’s promised in the pipeline for free Hip Hop, soon come.
