Missy Elliott debuted a brand new song during her recent set at this past weekend’s Lovers & Friends festival — check out footage from her set below.

On Sunday (May 7), Missy shared a clip from her headline performance which took place on Saturday (May 6) in Las Vegas. In it she revealed a peek at a new track featuring bounce artist Ha Sizzle who could be seen performing an energetic verse in a black-and-white themed music video.

“I slipped on a new missy single ft @hasizzleking, coming soon,” she wrote in the caption. The Virginia native then followed up with another tweet where she revealed that the single would be called “The Greatest.”

HipHopDX has confirmed the track was produced by Wili Hendrix and ReemixLoops, with extra input from Michael Aristotle.

The track, which would be her first solo single since 2020’s “Why I Still Love You” from her Iconology EP, comes shortly after she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the first time as a female rapper.

Missy celebrated the accolade with friends, family, and fellow artists via social media. In a Instagram post last week, Missy noted how this moment was not only “huge” for her but for all her “sisters in Hip Hop.”
