The Daily Beast recently profiled “New Atlanta” rappers Migos in a story titled “Migos: Hip Hop’s Biggest Hellraisers.”
The trio’s rowdiest concert – last month’s melee in Albany – is highlighted within the story, and their short-lived feud with Chief Keef and his GBE cohorts is discussed.
In March, Migos was blamed by city officials for inciting the crowd inside of Albany’s Washington Avenue Armory. An off-stage altercation ultimately left six men stabbed and one woman robbed and assaulted, the Migos were subsequently banned from the arena.
“It be pissin’ me off because they’re messin’ with a lot of our money by putting our name on something that has nothing to do with us,” Takeoff told The Daily Beast. “You can see in the pictures that we’re onstage performing and doing what we do.”
“If you want the Migos to come to your venue, you need to have security there because of the type of music we’re rappin’. We get fans excited,” Quavo adds. “We’re gonna give you a great show. We’re tellin’ you to drink one time, smoke one time, so beef up [the security] and we’ll get with it. We weren’t with the stabbin’ and shit. It didn’t have nothin’ to do with us, but they banned us.”
The article also dubs the trio, “the most controversial rap group in America.”
Their conflict with Chief Keef and GBE was settled last December, yet the Migos declined to speak on their current relationship.

Migos who? Sorry, don’t really follow. Now NWA and 2 live crew, yes, they were controversial.
yeah they were…20+ years ago.
Get with the times, gramps.
^ Please, whatever “controversial” shit Migos is doing doesn’t match up to the controversy NWA and 2 Live Crew built up back then. Violence at concerts isn’t anything new.
These punk niggaz get slumped if their ever in my city
2 Chainz & Gunplay should have put these 3 still born premature births up for abortion
Apparently The Daily Beast has never heard of N.W.A
Yo dawg, not sure if you just woke up from a time capsule like Captain America or something, but it’s 2015 and NWA hasn’t been a group in a while. Eazy is dead (RIP,) Dre slangs headphones, and Cube has a family sitcom. They’re the least controversial dudes in rap these days. So just in case you actually did just wake up from a coma, I suggest you check out this website called wikipedia. It’s good for getting up to speed.
^ Yes, let’s all check out a website where anybody can edit anything.
“The Most Laughable Rap Group In America” seems more fitting.
So no one remember Wu-tang clan?????
more like you need to have security so quavo doesnt lose another chain LOL fucking frauds
