Method Man has all the praise for his fellow rap legend Snoop Dogg, expressing that he’s “transcended Hip Hop” and become a brand in his own right.

Appearing on The Stephen A. Smith Show on Thursday (October 3), Meth gave Snoop his flowers.

“Snoop has transcended rapper. He has transcended artist,” he said. “Snoop is a franchise now. He should just be an ambassador for our music, period. Or hold classes on how to broaden your horizons, how to master different trades how to market yourself. Because Snoop is doing incredible things and we’re looking at more than 30 years, Stephen. 30 years and he doesn’t even have to drop music and that’s the beauty of it!”

In a live interview with Drink Champs at REVOLT WORLD in Atlanta last month, Method Man revealed that he will be making an appearance on Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre‘s highly anticipated Missionary album.

After being asked about his dream collaboration would be with one other artist and one producer, Meth said: “I already did something with these guys but I’m gonna use it again: Snoop and Dre.”

He continued: “Every time I work with Dre, I feel like I need a do-over. The first time I was in the studio with him physically there, that chronic [hits] different. I spit a verse but it wasn’t up to par for me, so Dre was gracious enough not to put it out.

“The second shot I got is for the Dre and Snoop joint coming up. Woo! He got a lot of fire shit on there, man.”

The Tical MC was still self-critical of his performance on the album, adding: “And still, I feel like I could have done a little bit more, but I’m always gonna feel that way.”

Dr. Dre has previously boasted that his work on Missionary is some of the best he has ever done.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, he said: “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with [Snoop’s] lyrics and with my music. I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career […] I’m not playing.”

He added: “The musicians I’m working with right now and some of the writers in the studio that are helping us… Snoop is really excited about this and so am I. I think people are gonna really enjoy this.”
