Method Man disguised himself as a blueberry muffin named Stud Muffin for what’s arguably one of the most surprising appearances yet on The Masked Singer.
The Wu-Tang Clan legend made it through two performances before being disqualified after receiving the least amount of votes. His voice was unmistakable on his first episode when he rapped House Of Pain’s “Jump Around,” but he made it through without being outed.
On his second appearance, the gritty Staten Island rapper did a little singing and some dancing for his second performance of Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison” – quite the departure from his usual shows! Unfortunately he was sent home after that, but not before hosts Rita Ora and Robin Thicke lost their minds over his unmasking.

Back in 2021, Wiz Khalifa joined in on season 5 of the popular FOX show as a colorful chameleon. He made it through a few episodes performing hits like Nelly’s “Ride With Me,” but he eventually was sent home as well.

The normally elusive Lil Wayne surprised fans when he appeared as a contestant on the show on season three – but he didn’t make it past the premiere. His cover as The Robot was quickly blown following his performance of Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” but he took it in stride as he told the judges that he did it for his kids, who love the show.
In 2023, Ne-Yo was declared as the winner of the tenth season, where he performed as a female cow.
The legendary Grandmaster Flash also surprised everyone when he was unmasked as the Polar Bear on season 9.
Flash made it through two episodes before his elimination in episode three. Upon his reveal, host Nick Cannon asked what made the Hip Hop pioneer want to do the show, and his response was simple: It makes him happy.
