Memphis Bleek has gone into the vault and uncovered some rare footage of the first time he hit the stage alongside his longtime friend and collaborator JAY-Z.

On Tuesday (March 14), Bleek took to Instagram to share the grainy ’90s footage of him performing “Coming of Age” — taken from Jay’s Reasonable Doubt — alongside the Roc-A-Fella mogul.

The gem of a clip arrived to the surprise of many Hip Hop staples who saluted Memphis Bleek in the comment section including legendary radio hosts Sway and Ebro Darden as well as Royce Da 5’9″ and more.

Bleek was one of the first artists signed to Roc-A-Fella and grew up in the same Marcy Projects JAY-Z once called home in Brooklyn.

They teamed up on numerous records throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s such as “Get Your Mind Right,” “What You Think of That,” “Do My…,” “My Mind Right,” “It’s Alright” and more.

“Coming of Age” landed on 1996’s Reasonable Doubt, which debuted at No.23 the Billboard 200. Spawning the singles “Ain’t No N-gga” and “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” the album has since been certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Association of America).

Earlier this month, Memphis Bleek laughed off a fan’s request for a joint project from him and JAY-Z.

“I believe we need a @memphisbleek Jay-Z Collab album right now,” a fan tweeted.

Bleek responded swiftly with plenty of enthusiasm to the musical idea: “Shiiiiiiiiddddddd [Crying laughing emoji].”
