Memphis Bleek Casts Doubt On Dame Dash’s Claim They’ve Hashed Out Their Issues

Dame Dash has claimed that he and Memphis Bleek resolved their issues over a phone call, but the former Roc-A-Fella rapper appears to think otherwise.

Speaking on his America Nu Network, Dash said that his recent public back-and-forths with Bleek and N.O.R.E. were put to bed after they got on the horn and spoke like men.

“N.O.R.E. put Bleek on the phone and something happened that I really liked,” he said. “We talked like brothers. At the end of the day we worked it out.

“It felt like real brothers arguing over things they didn’t like about each other… For me, it was some real man shit.”

While Dash appeared positive about their relationship going forward, Bleek cast doubt on the notion that their issues have been ironed out by reposting a clip of Dame’s comments on X and adding two thinking face emojis.

The pair just recently went at each other online after Dame Dash claimed that JAY-Z ghostwrote Memphis Bleek’s rhymes.

“I don’t think Bleek wanted to take over [Roc-A-Fella]. I don’t think he had the ability to,” he said in an interview with The Art of Dialogue. “Jay was writing a lot of his rhymes. So if Jay retired, that meant he was out of business as well.”

He added: “Ask Bleek about it. I can understand Bleek’s loyalty to Jay because he had Jay as a ghostwriter.”

The Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder also criticized Bleek’s work ethic, saying: “I’ve always had to push Bleek to put an album out. I personally think I wanted more for Bleek than Bleek wanted for himself.

“I would argue with him about, ‘Do your own show. Stop depending on this dude to do everything for you. You gotta do it on your own.’”

Bleek caught wind of Dash’s remarks and quickly fired back on social media, writing: “He wilding right now bro [crying face emojis].”

Addressing his former label boss’ ghostwriting claim, the Brooklyn rapper said: “I wish maybe I [would] still be lit [fire emoji].”

He added: “And people said I was whack [thinking face emoji] so if Jay wrote for me he whack [too] [crying face emojis].”

    1. “If Jay wrote for me, he whack too,” LMFAO! This cat acting lyk Jay aint never wrote a whack rhyme or flopped. Dame only exposing what we all knew all along. Bleek pen game was always questionable hence he never made it even if he was on the biggest label in Rap. You can hear Jay in his music if you care to listen. We wouldn’t know him as a rapper if wasn’t for Jay, same way he wudnt be anything now if it wasn’t for his big homie.
