Megan Thee Stallion has responded to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s comments about wanting to be her pet.
Meg sat down with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up to discuss her new album Traumazine, and when asked to respond to The Rock’s odd request, she called the former pro wrestler a “mega-star.”
“I mean, that’s kind of legendary,” Megan Thee Stallion said. “Like, I’m kind of epic. I used to watch wrestling all the time.”
She continued: “Being from Houston and watching The Rock and how famous he is, how much of a mega-star he is and he wanna be my pet? Like, period. Like, we made it. We might be a little famous.”
The Rock’s comment was made while he was on a press tour with Kevin Hart for their new animated film DC League of Super-Pets, and while Megan seemed excited by the idea, her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine was less enthused by the Black Adam actor’s comments.
“All Our dogs is named after #s… Just teach ya wife how to use seasoning… You’ll be iight… Moana is the shit tho,” Pardison wrote in the comment section of The Shade Room. He was likely referring to Megan Thee Stallion’s three French Bulldogs, Pit Bull, Merle dog and Cane Corso that are all named after numbers.
Megan Thee Stallion’s new album Traumazine was announced on Thursday (August 11), with Meg saying that despite ongoing issues with her label, this album means she’ll finally have completed the terms of her current deal.
“Y’all know I always have problems with dropping my music under this label, all these games and having to go to court just to put out my art has been so stressful,” Megan tweeted out. “Thank you hotties for rocking with me through the bullshit WE ALMOST OUT LETS STAY FOCUSED AND RUN THIS LAST ONE UP.”
The project found the Houston rapper touching on numerous topics, including her ongoing criminal trial against Tory Lanez, who she’s accused of shooting her in the foot after a party in July of 2020.
“I feel like Biggie, who shot you?/ But everybody know who shot me, bitch,” she raps on “Who Me,” referencing The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1995 hit “Who Shot Ya?”
Elsewhere on the album, she also touched on the death of her mother Holly Thomas, who passed away from a brain tumor in 2019.

Thats funny as hell she shut up her sensitive ass Milenial boyfriend lol. I know its probably before most of yall time but back in the day having a “pet rock” was a funny novelty item that people actually paid money for like suckers. Now they do the same thing with streams.
Second album might not do as well.
