Houston, TX

A Megan Thee Stallion fan has been arrested after impersonating a police officer in a bold attempt to sneak into her hometown show over the weekend.

According to ABC13, 28-year-old Trayvone “Lil Darus” Stevenson was arrested on charges of impersonating a public servant after dressing up as a cop in an attempt to get into Megan’s headlining performance at the AT&T Block Party in Houston on Friday night (March 31).

Stevenson donned a fake “K-9 Unit” vest and claimed to be working as security at the free event, but Houston police sniffed out the situation pretty quickly as he was arrested.

The 28-year-old, who works as a barber in the local area, has no law enforcement credentials and didn’t even have a dog with him at the time. Stevenson posted a $20,000 bond after his court hearing on Monday (April 3) and was released from Harris County Jail.

“Megan Thee Stallion is a fantastic draw, big draw, especially here in Houston, but this is still a felony case. You cannot go and impersonate an officer to get into a concert venue,” prosecutor Mathew Jackson said at Monday’s hearing.

The Houston Hottie’s Friday night performance came as part of the Final Four Fan Fest with her hometown hosting the men’s NCAA Final Four. It served as her first headlining concert in the city since 2019 and first major performance since Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting her in 2020.
