Megan Thee Stallion is celebrating her 30th birthday in a unique way — by rolling out her own brand of tequila.
The Texas rapper has created Chicas Divertidas, which currently comes in two varieties, Blanco ($70) and Reposado ($80).

The drink, which is produced by the Mexican company Casa Centila, is currently available for pre-order on the brand’s website.
“As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I knew I wanted to create a tequila that was designed to be shared and savored with my Hotties,” Megan said in a statement released on Saturday (February 15).

“This process has been years in the making, and I’m so proud to take this next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and launch this brand. I know the Hotties are ready, it’s time to give them a drink made by me!”
Megan explained to Forbeswhy she chose to start her liquor empire with tequila.

“When you go to parties, in my experience, everybody’s drink of choice is tequila,” she said. “I feel like it’s just a universal happy drink. And I have always loved a good reposado. It’s my favorite. So I decided, I need to be the one bringing the vibe to parties–with gifts. So that’s how I came up with Chicas.”
She also said that this was not just another celebrity endorsement.

“I’m not a brand ambassador for a liquor,” she continued. “I’m not just putting my face on someone else’s brand. This is my tequila.
“I took my time to craft the liquid and the bottle. Everything about this represents me. It’s my business; it’s my company. And that sets me apart from other celebrity-endorsed alcohols.”

In other Megan news, last month she was accused of even more wrongdoing in an amended version of the lawsuit filed by her former photographer in 2024.
In documents first spotted by Legal Affairs and Trials‘ Meghann Cuniff, Emilio Garcia made 10 additional claims against the Houston rap star in a 54-page filing.
Among them, he alleges that he was misclassified as an independent contractor, accuses Meg of throwing a TV remote at his head during a hotel stay in 2022 and revisits his original complaint of Meg having sex with another girl in front of him to allege that she even raps about it on her October 2024 album, Megan: Act. II.
Referencing the lyrics on “Best Friend” that say, “Ayy, two red bones kissin’ in the back seat/Girl, don’t stop, keep goin’ and relax me/You want me to join in? Then ask me/I like girls that like girls, that attract me,” the filing said she “relished” the incident.

In Megan Thee Stallion’s first response to the suit in April 2024, her attorneys said: “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
They later filed an official response, dubbing Garcia a “con artist” who is “manipulating the judicial system to act as his publicist and bullhorn.”
