The announcement arrives amid escalating tensions between Meg and Nicki Minaj, ignited by the release of Tina Snow’s single “Hiss,” which seemingly aimed several barbs at Barbz.
“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start,” the Houston native raps.

“Megan’s Law” seems to target Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, by alluding to the federal legislation mandating the public disclosure of information about registered sex offenders.
In 2022, Petty received a three-year probation sentence along with one year of house detention after he failed to register as a sex offender in California. This incident occurred after he and Nicki relocated to California in 2019, just before they married.

His sex offender status stems from a 1995 conviction for the first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl, for which he spent four years in prison.

In response, Minaj dropped “Big Foot.” Released on Monday (January 29), “Big Foot” finds Nicki making several lurid accusations about the Houston native, spitting: “How you fuck your mother man when she die?/ How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry? Chile, bye/ Big foot, but you still a small fry/ Swearing on your dead mother when you lie.”
She also mocks Meg for getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez, accuses her of getting liposuction, and mentions the death of her mother,

Taking to social media, the Pink Friday 2 MC also targeted Roc Nation who manages Meg, accusing them of puppeteering the drama.
Soon after, Meg seemingly responded, during an appearance on the live radio app Stationhead — coincidentally, a platform favored by Minaj. On Thursday (February 1), Meg taunted her rap rival by warning her: “Don’t make me call Roc Nation.”
This appeared to be in response to Nicki’s recent claims that the JAY-Z-founded company is paying people to bad-mouth her on social media and employing bots to promote Megan’s latest single.
Tina Snow also appeared to respond to a direct line said by Nicki on “Big Foot,” saying: “If we go number one, bitch, I might put the straw back in the Hennessy,” referencing “Hiss” challenging for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

This was seemingly a reply to the lyric: “Your flow is such a bore/ Drinkin’ a bottle of Henny through a straw.”
