Meek Mill has gone to bat for Ice Spice after the “Munch” rapper faced some serious criticism this week following the release of a viral video.
In the video that started doing the rounds on Tuesday (November 14), Ice Spice can be seen taking an alcoholic drink that a fan gave her. But instead of drinking it herself, she hands it off to a friend.

While this prompted some fans to criticize the up-and-coming superstar for seemingly putting her friend in potential danger — with one writing: “RIP to her friend then” — others seemed to defend her choice, with another writing: “Good one from here these days you can get poisoned easily.”
For his part, Meek took to Twitter on Wednesday (November 15) to take up for the “Bikini Bottom” rapper.

Meek Mill has been enjoying a newfound spate of success thanks to his and Rick Ross’ Too Good To Be True joint album.
Despite the project being estimated to move between 30,000 – 35,000 units in its first seven days — lower than some fans’ expectations — the Philly rapper explained on Sunday (November 12) that he’s playing a different game than the traditional one the industry set up, as he and Rozay “own” the album.

“It’s says me and Ross on pace to sell 35k first week I would post if it said 350k… I’m too nice and rich to be rapping in a control music environment that’s why we dropping music on Fridays it’s doesn’t make sense,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Now we all own our music we getting the tech built to put people on our own musical subscriptions and we gone let direct to consumer see if rap if doing well.”
Meek continued to say that the project is going platinum in the streets: “The streets love this album too! I’m use every drop of my talent now I own 100 percent of my music now! It was top tier rap for the hustlers and winners! Tap in ‘ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE’ owned by ‘WILLIAM ROBERTS X ROBERT WILLIAMS DIRSTO [sic] BY:GAMMA.”
As for Ice Spice, she’s been making headlines thanks to her new “tramp stamp” tattoo.
On Tuesday (November 14), the “Deli” rhymer took to Instagram, where she shared photos of her unveiling a lower back tattoo while donning a black velour cropped hoodie and low-rise jeans.

“Y2K! ?/?/24,” she captioned the post, suggesting that her debut album (presumably titled Y2K) is arriving sometime in 2024.
The project will serve as the follow-up to the Bronx native’s Like..? EP, which dropped in January. A deluxe edition featuring Nicki Minaj arrived a few months later.
