Meek Mill has clapped back after being called “slow” by one of his followers on social media.

On Sunday (March 2), Meek shared an old photo to X of him wearing a hoodie during a REFORM Alliance conference that included multiple other people in suits – and he explained that despite owning “100 suits, nobody will ever notice that I wear hoodies to most speaking engagements on purpose so they can see me as a black man from the streets! Rip to Trayvon martin!”

Oe of his followers then shared the post and wrote, “This n-gga a special kind of slow” – prompting a clapback from Meek.

“I have millions in my bank account,” he wrote. “[R]espected by the streets and the wealthy … with over 30m raised to fight the system with reform… all houses owned from my gmom and mom… and I look out for my community … let’s compare lives right here in front of the world lol.”

It’s not always the easiest time for Meek Mill on social media.

Last month, the Philadelphia rapper was clowned online for wanting to buy TikTok ahead of the controversial social media platform’s ban in the United States.

Meek then followed up by saying: “If they cut off tik tok we going x and FANBASE.”

Fans had fun with memes including one of the Dream Chasers boss at JAY-Z’s Roc Nation Brunch being stared at as if he has just said something crazy.

Another user posted a screenshot of an old tweet which said: “Just wait, Meek Mill’s bout to tweet something stupid in all this chaos.”

Someone else posted a brief clip from the sitcom Martin where the titular star says: “Sit your dumb ass down!”

HipHopDX‘s Jeremy Hecht also commented: “I swear we need a museum for Meek tweets.”
