Maxo Kream believes he may have been an inspiration for a character seen in the new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer which he thinks is a mix of Rod Wave and himself.

The Texas rapper watched the anticipated GTA 6 trailer with the world earlier this week and noticed one character that made him question who Rockstar Games based it on.

50’s longtime friend and collaborator Eminem actually came close to starring in a GTA movie following the release of Grand Theft Auto III in 2001.

Kirk Ewing, a friend of GTA creators Sam and Dan Houser, said on the Grandest Game podcast in November: “[The agent] said: ‘Kirk, we’ve got Eminem to star, and it’s a Tony Scott film. $5million on the nose. Are you interested?’

He continued: “And he said: ‘Not interested’ … They realized that the media franchise that they had was bigger than any movie that was going on at the time.”
