Ma$e has weighed in on Scottie Pippen’s bitterness toward Michael Jordan, which he believes stems from his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, reportedly dating MJ’s son, Marcus.

The Chicago Bulls legend recently caused a stir by saying that Jordan — widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time — was a “horrible player” before they became teammates and dominated the NBA.

“I seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys seen him play. He was a horrible player,” Pippen said on Stacey King’s Gimme the Hot Sauce podcast. “He was horrible to play with. He was all one-on-one, he’s shooting bad shots. And all of a sudden, we become a team and we start winning [and] everybody forgot who he was.”

Ma$e chewed over Scottie’s controversial comments with Cam’ron on their sports talk show It Is What It Is, where he jokingly wondered what he’d say about LeBron James’ legacy if Larsa were to hook up with one of his sons.

“Scottie is wilding,” the Harlem native said. “You’re going way overboard, Scottie. You’re making it obvious that Mike’s son being with your wife is getting to you. It’s just mind-boggling to think that you are this messed up over Michael Jordan’s son.”

Killa Cam chimed in and claimed that Pippen’s gripes with Jordan have nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with his ex-wife. “This is all about a n-gga’s son boning his baby mother and now we’re making it into basketball,” he bluntly stated.

Ma$e continued to pile onto the Hall of Famer, saying: “And if he keeps it up, one of the LeBron sons might get her [next] … You keep it up, Scottie, and she gon’ end up with one of the James’. Then he gon’ be saying LeBron ain’t good.”

Both Ma$e and Cam struggled to hide their amusement during the flagrant segment.

The Harlem duo are never ones to hold their tongue, and the Larsa Pippen NBA love triangle doesn’t stop there.

Scottie and Larsa’s son, Scottie Pippen Jr., was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers this year and wound up as teammates with Malik Beasley, who dated his mother for several months in late 2020 and early 2021 — while he was still married to his estranged wife Montana Yao.

Cam’ron and Ma$e discussed the potentially awkward locker room dynamic during an episode of It Is What It Is in February, and claimed Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka should’ve done a background check before initiating the trade.

“Shit fucked up,” Cam said. “What the fuck is you doing, Rob Pelinka? You have to do this due diligence before you get n-ggas on the team.”

The Dipset rapper went on to point out that NBA teams always check if potential recruits have had a history with drugs or criminal activities — but not for a player who “boned another n-gga’s mother.”
