a single off his mixtape Best Day Ever .
Breaking the news via Twitter, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native wrote, “I have my first gold record. dope.” Benjy Grinberg, president of his label Rostrum Records, confirmed the news, tweeting, “Congrats to @macmiller and @TheRealSap for “Donald Trump” officially going GOLD!!! Amazing! #FirstGoldSingle.”
Mac recently released his debut album Blue Slide Park, which bowed at number one with 145,000 copies sold in its first week.
