Mac Miller & MTV2’s “Mac Miller And The Most Dope Family” First Episode Stream

Mac Miller is set to star in a six-episode MTV2 reality series about his life.

THR describes the show, scheduled to air in the first quarter of 2013, as “not unlike a real-life version of HBO’s Entourage following the rapper and his three friends, known as the Most Dope Crew. The quartet will pack up from their hometown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the first time and move to Los Angeles, California.

The Rostrum Records signee will also let the cameras capture the production of his upcoming sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off.

“Yes, I have a show on MTV2,” says Mac of the show, which has an option to be picked up for more episodes if it succeeds. “It’s very cool. Being an independent artist, I think it’s important to find different ways to bring attention to what you are doing. With Watching Movies coming out, I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everybody hears that.

“The show is going to be cool, it’s a little look into my life … well, all the stuff you can show on TV,” he continued. “I have been living in my studio for months working on my album, so the show kind of forced me to get out of that room and go do something entertaining.”

    1. Looking forward to that album. You know he’s gonna go hard considering all this hate’ he’s been getting. Do ya thing son! Anyone who talks shit about this guy has only heard his singles.

      1. lmao..dude hit a soft spot, hahah..MTV is fuckin garbage. BS reality, rotten kids brains, no wonder people like chief keef and mac are famous,,, there’s a bunch of slow idiots watching MTV all day thinking there talented…smh…thank god for the internet…

    2. I don’t care what anyone says about this guy he is straight up dope. If you don’t like his music then you at least have to respect his grind.

      1. what grind? he rode wiz khalifa’s coat tails to where hes at today with the help of his rich parents of course

      2. He certainly had help from Wiz but “riding his coat tail” is not the correct way to put it. He’s different from Wiz also. He’s not Chevy Woods. He’s talented also. He plays multiple instruments very well. He doesn’t just make Hip Hop either. He makes some decent Indie Rock. I’m guessing you haven’t heard his newer stuff but the dude is creative. I don’t think you know what your talking about, sunshine. Study up a little bit next time.

      1. Not to stir up any controversy but anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism are two separate thing. There are practicing Jews who hold anti-Zionist views too. Just because he called Mac Miller a Zionist doesn’t necessarily mean that he hates Jews.

      2. Eloquent statement my son, but I submit that the “Jewrat” portion of the original message implies what one might interpret as hatred for the Jewish religion. Also, the name that the author of the original message chose for this post is the motto for the Schutzstaffel. As we all know, the Schutzstaffel were a major paramilitary organization under Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Party. One can deduce that the author of the original has a deep, deep hatred for the Jews, and quite possibly is a bitch nigga as well.

      1. ^when did mac ever say that, mac miller has ill flow dude an even he says that people underate him an think he can’t rap,so he does some solid ass verse on the radio station an then does off the dome freestyle…if he was wack,he wouldnt make a song with dj premier, premier cosigned him

    3. the show might be a cool show… im not gunna hate till i give it a chance. As far as his music goes, i think his music days are over, he has a couple hits but he doesnt get out enough lately.

    4. Yeah I realized that you gotta give props to people even if you hate them. I ain’t a Mac Miller fan but good for him! Got all his friends and family living the good life! So who cares your being sued for millions?? We still gotta have positive vibes man!

    5. Mac is dope, I don’t care what any of you say. I know he’s mainstream but I listen to everything. Now let the hate begin.

    6. I love the show. fuck all you haters your just angry and jealous. you wish you could be mac miller
