Ludacris has made his wife work for her Valentine’s Day gifts after he set her a rock climbing challenge.

The rapper and actor shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday (February 14) which he opened by saying: “Man, you know what I’m sick and tired of? Every year my closest friends call me and say, ‘Luda, you making it too hard on us man, you too thoughtful, too romantic with your wife, with the gifts on Valentine’s Day.’

“You supposed to be too romantic and too thoughtful with your wife on Valentine’s Day. But I hear y’all, so this year I’m gonna make her work for it.”

Luda then challenges his wife to complete rock climbing challenges to get her hands on her gifts, which include jewelry and cash.

The Atlanta native joked in his caption: “LOVE Takes HARD Work! LITERALLY [crying face emoji] HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Mrs. Bridges.”

Ludacris’ wife, Eudoxie Bridges, commented on the video, saying: “I want to go back to the romantic Valentine’s days. My nails were too long for this. My body hurts [crying face emojis] nonetheless, I appreciate all of your efforts every time! I love you my forever Valentine.”

The clip went down well on social media, with Luda’s Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese commenting: “Man I just love y’all soooooo much happy love day to the Bridges!!!!”

Luda and his wife appear to enjoy doing physical activities together as the “What’s Your Fantasy?” rapper recently shared a video of them working up a sweat in the gym.

The clip showed them lifting weights together while kissing, with another of Luda’s Fast & Furious co-stars Nathalie Emmanuel commenting on the post: “Omg you guys are so cuuuute.”

The couple have been in a relationship since 2009, later marrying in 2014 on Boxing Day. They have since welcomed two children together.

Ludacris recently lit up the Super Bowl halftime show while appearing as a special guest of Usher’s.
