Ludacris may be rich and have the ability to buy whatever wheels he wants, but some things are priceless – like his favorite car from the early ’90s.

The multi-hyphenate was a guest on The Rewind series from Men’s Health on Thursday (August 10), where he was given some old photos of himself and shared more insight on the moment. When a photo of his 1993 Acura Legend came up, he revealed he still has the car after all these years.

“I still got my 1993 Acura Legend to this day. It has over 253,000 miles on it,” Ludacris said. “It’s still my favorite car. You know why? Because it keeps me grounded. It’s my anchor.”

He continued: “I had this car before I got a major record deal and started making millions of dollars. And I still have that car now because it reminds me of the hustle and the struggle of everything that I went through and it brings me back to where I first started.”

While he remains grounded with his old car, Ludacris is still making sure to bless others with the riches he’s obtained throughout his storied career. Last month, the DTP founder was so moved following his performance at the Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati that he gave a five-figure donation to their local children’s theater.

According to Cincinnati’s Local 12, Luda pledged $50,000 to the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati to help support its $48 million restoration campaign for the Emery Theater building.

In a statement to the news outlet, Ludacris said: “I’m drawn to the Children’s Theatre’s project in Cincinnati because of the plans to develop new works that hit on the topics that matter to kids today. The Emery project signals an incredible opportunity for more children to access the arts and see themselves in what happens on stage.”

He added: “As a father of four daughters and a philanthropist who’s constantly investing in the next generation, I’m honored to be a part of this.”

As of July 31, the theater had reached over $30 million toward its $48 million goal.
