Among the many collaborators in Nate Dogg’s 18-plus year career, one success was Ludacris’ “Area Codes.” Produced by Jazze Pha, the single from 2001’s Word of Mouf.
The two would work together again on Nate’s 2001 album, Music and Me on “Real Pimp” and 2004’s Luda album, Red Light District on “Child of Da Night.”
There is a certain void in hip hop’s heart that can never be filled.Glad we got to make history together. RT @SnoopDogg: RIP NATE DOGG.
While Warren G, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt have not publicly reacted to Nate Dogg’s death, Ludacris acknowledged his peer in saying, “There is a certain void in Hip Hop’s heart that can never be filled.”
Nate Dogg was reported dead this morning, after battling complications from stroke over several years.
R.I.P NATE DOGG
Please correct this, Daz Dillinger reacted on twitter before Ludacris and Kurupt roughly around the same time.
Damn straight he did. Good lookin’ out.
Im at a lost for words just like how im sure Kurupt, Daz & Warren are right now. I was and still am the biggest nate dogg fan, I just had a conversation with my homies not even 3 weeks ago talking about how there is no other nate dogg. i dont even listen to RnB or that Drake gay signing shit ever, only time i will ever listen to it would be through the vocal chords of the one and only nate dogg. he mastered the transition between hip hop and rnb. u can search high n low but u will never find another Nate D-O-Double G. The westcoast has lost yet another legend. Rest In Paradise Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, U truly were one of a kind..
straight up ! i agree
RIP

“Hoes, Hoes… Hoooeees” Who can put more flavor to that hook? The only one G-Funk, Nate Dogg, Peace!!!
Favorite Nate Track among many was “Bitch Please” with Snoop Dogg feat Xzibit and Nate Dogg on the hook at the end. Like I said among many Nate Dogg songs.
I’ve been bumping my fav Nate Dogg song “Nobody Does It Better”…a true pioneer at what he did for hip-hop and r&b.
