Lonzo Ball has delivered a freestyle over The Notorious B.I.G.‘s classic “Hypnotize” beat as he continues to rehab his knee injury.
The Chicago Bulls guard appeared at a live interview event of sorts recently with a crowd on hand and he transitioned into his ZO rapping alias to fire off a few bars over the 1997 Bad Boy anthem.

If his bars are anything to go by, Ball appears to be having some baby mama drama as he references the issues he’s had co-parenting his daughter, Zoey, with ex-girlfriend Denise Garcia.
“Baby mama tripping,” he raps. “I ain’t tripping because them baby n-ggas lie to me.”

Lonzo Ball broke up with his high school sweetheart in 2019 and is currently dating model Ally Rossel. The couple were spotted vacationing in Bora Bora earlier this month.
Prior to their split, Ball and Garcia got candid about their relationship issues during a 2018 episode of Ball in the Family.

“Things have been tough as far as getting help from Zo because I get absolutely no help from him,” she said at the time. “We’re just parents, I guess. He’s Zoey’s dad… I just want us both to be happy. Whatever that means, so if it’s us together then fine. But if it’s not, then it’s not.”
Ball understood where Garcia was coming from, but admitted he couldn’t be there 100 percent because of his focus on basketball.
“Denise wants to live the fairytale life right now,” he stated. “Unfortunately, I can’t really give that to her because I’m not there all the time. I don’t blame her for the way she feels and wanting me to do more, but right now, I gotta be focused on my profession.”
Although, the 25-year-old has had plenty of time to work on his bars as he hasn’t played in an NBA game since January 2022 and he’s expected to miss the entire 2023-2024 season as he recovers from a third knee surgery.
Ball previously inked a four-year deal with the Bulls for $80million prior to the 2021 season.

“Everything is going well,” Chicago Bulls executive Arthur Karnisovas said of Ball’s recovery in June. “Going into the offseason, I think our expectation is that he’s not coming back next season and he’s going to continue on his recovery.
“If he comes back, it would be great but we’re just going to treat this offseason and getting ready for the season that he’s not going to be back.”
