Released on Thursday (April 6), the video sees the two MCs spitting against several colorful but moody backdrops, as well as a few black and white ones. Both Banks and Meth deliver a fiery performance over the V Don production, trading sharp bars and vivid imagery, showcasing the chemistry they have when they come together.

Killer before the shine, I came up that n-gga/ I’m born to rhyme, make more, the corporate line/ These chumps operatin’ on overtime/ This is my quarter, dog, you eat what you slaughter,” Lloyd Banks raps.

Method Man comes in with equally as hard a verse that asserts his greatness over his peers and newcomers: “Legend be Boris Simon, you? Just a Busta before the Rhyme/ You prima donnas like a virgin Madonna, but borderline/ Bunch of borin’ lines no one fallin’ for, so fall in line.”

“101 Razors” was released towards the end of March, and comes after Lloyd Banks announced his upcoming project, The Course Of The Inevitable 3: Pieces of My Pain. The Queens, New York native posted black-and-white trailer to Instagram while asking fans to help him decide a release date.

The former G-Unit soldier made his long-awaited return in 2021 with his fourth studio album The Course of the Inevitable. He followed that up with the sequel The Course of the Inevitable 2 last year, and now the veteran MC is looking to complete the trilogy in 2023.

COTI 3 isn’t the only new release fans can expect from Blue Hefner. During an interview with HipHopDX last year, Lloyd Banks revealed he has enough material to release an album each year for the next five years.

“I just feel like I’m chasing the ultimate album, you know what I mean?” he began.

He continued: “So it’s like, I can’t possibly be finished. I also lost more than a few years from just taking hiatuses in the business. In a lot of spots, I’ve might have been expected to have momentum, but I wasn’t in a situation at the time to just drop album after album.”
