Lizzo has a few tips for fans trying to attain the perfect summer body, though they’re not exactly what one may expect.

Taking to Instagram with a video on Tuesday (April 9), the superstar singer jokingly shared a few ideas for living your best life for this summer.

“Block your ex,” she said while throwing her phone in the pool.

While lifting up a bottle of wine, she offered tip number two and said: “Remember to hydrate excessively.”

And for the third bit, she concluded: “Remember, you can never be too extra!”

The 35-year-old topped it off with a caption plugging her shapewear line, Yitty, and wrote: “Cus EVERY DAMN BODY is a Summer Body in @yitty”

After scaring fans into thinking she was walking away from music earlier this month, the Houston superstar added some clarity regarding her declaration about being mistreated online, stating that her “I quit” note did not pertain to her craft.

In an Instagram post in early April, she explained that even though many people have misconstrued her message and framed it as a withdrawal from the business, she actually meant that she’s going to quit responding and giving energy to the many detractors she’s encountered throughout her career.

“I wanna make this video because I just need to clarify,” she began. “When I say I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention. What I’m not going to quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting the people – because I know I’m not alone.

“In no way shape or form am I the only person who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive. If I can just give one person the inspiration or motivation to stand up for themselves and say they quit letting negative people win, negative comments win, then I’ve done even more than I could have hoped for.”

She concluded: “With that being said, I’m going to keep moving forward. I’m going to keep being me. Once again I just wanna say thank you. The love that I’ve received means more than you know.”
