Lil Yachty is the latest rapper leveraging his popularity to make the transition into the world of podcasting much like Joe Budden and N.O.R.E. have.

The Atlanta rapper took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (June 13) looking for questions and topics fans would like to hear him discuss on the first episode of the untitled podcast.

The Atlanta native dipped his toes into the media business when he interviewed Drake on the beaches of Turks & Caicos in February, which was dubbed “A Moody Conversation” in promotion of Yachty’s FutureMood sunglasses line.

Drawing rave reviews from fans for his conversation skills and ability to connect with Drizzy, he got the Toronto superstar to open up about an array of topics he wouldn’t have otherwise.

A few parts went viral with tons of outlets turning Drizzy speaking on the topic of a “graceful exit” in his future retirement from rap into content. “I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna like — I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day. I feel like I’m kinda introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” he said at the time.

These days, Lil Yachty is using Drake to help make some extra money in other ways as he jokingly attempted to sell a piece of half-eaten pizza by the 6 God to a crazy fan.

“Selling this drake bit slice for $500k,” Yachty wrote to his Instagram Story last week, although it’s unclear if he actually would’ve gone through with the bizarre collector’s item.

Lil Yachty isn’t the first rapper to invade podcasting which has proved to be a lucrative pivot for the likes of the aforementioned Joe Budden and N.O.R.E.’s Drink Champs as well as Gillie Da Kid and Math Hoffa.

Even more active artists like Yung Miami with Caresha Please or Danny Brown’s The Danny Brown Show have shown the ability to juggle different creative hats with ease.
