Lil Yachty has apparently forgiven Elliott Wilson for his recent comments about him and Drake, but the 6 God has yet to accept the apology.
On Saturday (July 29), the Rap Radar CEO shared a clip from the most recent episode of the Joe Budden Podcast in which the team discusses Wilson’s criticism of Drake for rarely appearing on Hip Hop media outlets while pulling Yachty into the conversation as well.

“He said all them Drake interviews have been mid, so I mean you’re shitting on somebody that’s trying to do something different and that’s your man — he gave you a look. That was your biggest look,” the MC said about Drizzy having sat down with the former XXL editor-in-chief before.
Agreeing with what Budden & Co. had to say, Wilson wrote: “Mouse is right. And I apologized. Yachty forgave me. The Boy hasn’t.”
The same day as the above tweet, Wilson posted a clip from a chat he had with N.O.R.E and Speedy at Rolling Loud Miami in which he addressed the recent tiff with Drake. Though he did admit to taking the wrong approach because the two have historically had a good relationship, he stuck by his convictions.
The ordeal began with a since-deleted tweet from mid-July in which Wilson wrote: “Moment of clarity: No disrespect to Lil Boat. Yachty’s convo with The Boy was comfy and had some cool moments. I was more so clowning the comedy shenanigans with outsiders to our culture. It would be great to hear Drake speak to us again. Even if it ain’t me.”
Wilson, who interviewed Drizzy in 2013 and even crowned him “Best Male Rapper,” might’ve been referring to the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker’s recent interviews with comedy bloggers and podcast hosts such as Caleb Pressley and Bobbi Althoff (who also recently did an interview with Lil Yachty).
A week later, Drizzy hit back after being criticized for shunning rap media in favor of “outsiders.” After Akademiks shared a clip on Instagram of Wilson interviewing Trippie Redd at Rolling Loud Miami, he jumped into the comments section to throw shade at the veteran.

He mocked the 52-year-old for “doing Yes Julz run up interviews” and urged him to accept the reality that the younger generation is currently running things.
“Lol man shits on not coming to his platform for a second time and now Elliott 10 toes doing Yes Julz run up interviews at Rolling Loud,” the rapper wrote along with laughing emojis. “Just admit the youth took over big dog.”

Elliott Wilson, who’s not one to shy away from a fight, caught wind of Drake’s comments and fired back on Twitter. “Oh, it’s go time? Cool,” he wrote while sharing a screenshot of the Instagram comment.
