Lil Wayne continues to ride high in 2008. After taking home lyricist of the year honors at the BET Hip Hop Awards, Weezy F. announced that he’ll be re-releasing his platinum album, The Carter III.
The re-release of the album, will not be titled The Carter IV, but will contain all new material.
Wayne was all over the stage at the show, appearing with Common, T-Pain and Ludacris, among others.
He also announced that he’s expecting another child in the near future.
“I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me,” he said while accepting the MVP award.
