Lil Wayne was left speechless by Eli Manning’s rap song, and had the chance to lend his critique to the former New York Giants quarterback’s mic skills.

Weezy appeared as a special guest on ESPN’s Manningcast broadcast of his beloved Green Bay Packers’ regular season game against the Los Angeles Rams alongside Eli and Peyton Manning on Monday night (December 19).

During the show, the New Orleans rapper was shown a video of Eli channeling his inner-rapper as part of a recent New York Giants remix of Fivio Foreign’s “1 On 3.” The clip found the 41-year-old spitting some bars in the studio while rocking a yellow designer outfit and gold Cuban link chain.

“First of all, Eli, when I saw that, I just saw a picture of that first,” Wayne explained after struggling to find the right words to describe his reaction. “When I saw the picture, I was like, ‘Wait, is this how Eli really dress in his off time for real?’

“I didn’t know what was going on. I saw the Cuban around your neck. I’m glad I actually saw a video of what that was all about. But you killed it. You killed it. Yeah, you killed that.”

He continued: “Somebody ended up sending me a full-body picture of it and then I saw that you had on some khakis or something. That’s when I knew this must be a spoof or something.”

While he might not look like a typical Lil Wayne fan, Eli Manning credited Tunechi for inspiring his unexpected entry into the rap game before proving his credentials as a Weezy fan.

“I wasn’t watching a lot of Lil Wayne, but I was listening to him,” he said. “I was listening to ‘A Milli,’ I was listening to ‘Fireman,’ I was listening to ‘Stuntin’ Like My Daddy’ — that’s my personal favorite.”

“Stuntin’ Like Archie,” Wayne joked in response, referencing Eli and Peyton’s father, who was also a star NFL quarterback in the ’70s and ’80s.

Elsewhere in his 10-minute appearance, Lil Wayne reflected on the Packers winning Super Bowl XLV in 2011 over the Pittsburgh Steelers in one of the most special and unforgettable experiences in his lifetime.
