Lil Nas X has found himself in a tricky predicament after Norwegian police stopped him in relation to an incident that caused a massive underground road disturbance.
As reported by Rolling Stone, the “Old Town Road” hitmaker was one of four Americans stopped by authorities on Monday (July 10) for riding electric scooters along the Festning Tunnel — part of a giant underground road system known as the Opera Tunnel.

“Four people on scooters have lost their way into the Festning tunnel. They have used large parts of the roadway,” Oslo police wrote via Twitter, in turn causing the closure of several lanes to allow the group to safely make their exit. No arrests were made, and no charges filed.
Meanwhile, Lil Nas X documented the close call on social media. “About to go to jail in Norway (fire emoji),” he wrote alongside a snap featuring himself donned in an orange hoodie, as he stood in the famous tunnel, via Instagram Stories.

“nvm they fuck wit my music,” he added along with another image posing with authorities in front of a squad car, confirming he was officially in the clear.
Lil Nas X is currently in Norway for a performance at the Slottsffell festival later this week.
The news comes on the heels of the rapper’s headlining set at Lollapalooza Stockholm last week, when the 24-year-old was nearly struck by a flying object.
“Who threw they pussy onstage?” he asked upon realizing a vaginal sex toy had landed at his feet.
This got some laughs from the audience as the singer didn’t seem too upset by the stint, though that may not have been the case should he actually have been hit.
The incident follows a string of similar cases that involve audience members throwing things at performers while on stage. The trend isn’t specific to Hip Hop, as artists such as Kelsa Ballerini and Bebe Rexha have recently been hit in the face, with the latter even needing stitches.

“Throwing phones? That’s terrible. You about to throw your phone? That’s terrible. I don’t think phones should be thrown,” DaBaby recently said regarding Rexha’s injury.
