Lil Durk has playfully jabbed back at Sexyy Red for calling him “Lil Jerk” as they tease an anticipated collab on the way.

On Tuesday (August 29), Durkio took to his Instagram Story to post the studio file of his remix to Sexyy Red’s “Hellcats SRTs” track.

“cexy reddd for calling me jerk lol,” he wrote, filling out the artist tab on the file.

The St. Louis native clapped back at Durk while butchering the spelling of his name more: “Ok lol luh derk got me lost for words right now.”

Lil Durk boasted about going on another feature run and the first artist he named on Twitter earlier this month that he planned to work with was Sexyy Red. It’s unclear when the “Hellcats SRTs” remix will arrive, which originally landed on her Red’s Hood Hottest Princess project.

However, a lot of A-list rappers have been linking up with the burgeoning talent, including most recently Tyler, The Creator, who ran into Sexyy backstage at Drake‘s show at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on August 22 where she was performing as an opening act.

Sexyy Red’s movement only continues to gain steam as her “SkeeYee” hit was featured as part of HBO’s Hard Knocks on Tuesday night, which saw the New York Jets players turning up to her catchy Tay Keith-produced anthem during practice.

When she’s done opening up for Drake on his It’s All A Blur Tour, Sexyy Red will hit the road for her first headlining trek later this year.

The “Poundtown” rapper’s Hood Hottest Princess Tour will kick off on October 16 in Boston and hit New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, St. Louis, Chicago, Orlando, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and finish up in San Francisco on November 29.

Sexyy Red also recently joined comedian Funny Marco for an interview as part of his Open Thoughts series, where she shared her disdain for the unflattering comparisons to Young Thug in a comical yet serious fashion.

“I hate when they say I look like Young Thug ’cause no the fuck we do not look alike,” she said when asked if she has “got into it” with fans online.

The interview then cut to a hilarious side-by-side image of both rappers, who were coincidentally wearing black-framed glasses with their face tattoos and piercings on show.

Sexyy Red revealed that people were making the comparisons even before she shot to fame, “but now it’s worse.”
