Lil Durk has apparently delayed his Deep Thoughts album, but softened the blow for his fans by sharing details for a birthday show in Chicago.

The Windy City mainstay was set to release his new album on Friday (October 18), but the Kurrco X (formerly Twitter) account pointed out that the release date on streaming sites like Apple Music was listed as November 22 as of Monday (October 14).

Despite this delay, Durk still took to Instagram on Monday (October 14) to announce a massive show at the United Center in his hometown.

The show is set for October 20 and is called “Lil Durk… And Friends.” The video features teases of other artists, as outlined figures come and go with big question marks over their chests.

While Durk is firmly in album mode, he’s taken time away from the studio to support those in need.

Last week, he was doing his part for the community by offering to help out victims of Hurricane Milton, which ripped through parts of Florida.
