Kid Cudi To Become “Comedy Bang! Bang!” Musical Co-Star

Cleveland, Ohio lyricist Kid Cudi will add yet another notch to his belt when he becomes writer/comedian Scott Aukerman’s co-star on the weekly comedy audio podcast-turned-television series, “Comedy Bang! Bang!”

According to IFC.com, as part of his musical co-star gig, Cudi will bring his unique beats and other musical skills to the show.

Aukerman recently addressed the addition of Cudi to “Comedy Bang! Bang!” in a statement, jokingly stating that Cudi joining the show “is the next best thing” to having a kid.

“I can’t wait to start this new chapter of Comedy Bang! Bang! with Kid Cudi,” Scott Aukerman said. “When he was on the couch, I knew he had charisma and star quality, but I thought he should move slightly camera right. Plus, my wife and I have been trying to have a kid for several years, and this is the next best thing.”

Cudi is expected to replace Reggie Watts, the current musical co-star on “Comedy Bang! Bang!”, this summer after Watts joins “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”

Kid Cudi is scheduled to appear on “Comedy Bang! Bang” as a guest later today (February 20).

In addition to his new gig with Aukerman, Cudi recently wrapped filming for the film Vincent-N-Roxxy and is reportedly working on his next studio album, Man On The Moon III.

    1. Damn, what a downgrade from Reggie. CBB is currently one of my favorite shows, hope this dude doesn’t ruin it.
