Kid Cudi Provides Update On “Man On The Moon 3”

It’s been nearly six years since Cleveland, Ohio rapper Kid Cudi released his debut album, Man On The Moon: The End Of Day, which was almost immediately followed by Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.

Earlier this week, the former G.O.O.D. Music lyricist provided an update on the status of his Man On The Moon 3 album via Twitter.

Cudi, who previously revealed that Man On The Moon 3 would be released in 2015, explained that he has no plans on creating the album without “the team,” which includes Plain Pat, A-Trak, Dot Da Genius, and Emile Haynie.

“I can’t/won’t make MOTM3 w/o Pat, Emile & A Trak in the studio. We started together, we finish this together. It’s time I assemble the team. And of course we always need Dot Da Genius. We all had a vision we shared for this story. I can’t create the magic yall want with out their energy and genius to bounce off of,” he said in a series of tweets.

The rapper’s tweets warranted enthusiastic responses from both Plain Pat and A-Trak.

In addition to his tweets about the album, Cudi posted a picture of himself and producer Emile Haynie in the studio together with the caption: “And so it begins…”

Cudi’s Man On The Moon 3 update arrives days after he revealed via social media that he had just wrapped filming for the movie, Vincent-N-Roxxy, which also stars Zoe Kravitz.

    1. He was dope until he released indicud, that’s when he’s worn out artistically. He needs to reinvent himself on that one to make it worth a listen.
