Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, and a member of SWV is hoping the legendary group will share the stage with him.

On his new album GNX, K.Dot’s “The Heart Pt. 6” features a sample of SWV’s 1996 hit “Use Your Heart.” Kendrick’s track quickly became a fan-favorite, and SWV’s LeLee Lyons is hoping that the Compton rapper will perform it at the Super Bowl and invite the group along.

“Soooo @kendricklamar sampled our song “use your heart”. Wouldn’t it be a treat if we performed together at the Super Bowl? [Fingers] crossed,” she wrote on Threads on November 25.

While Kendrick has yet to respond, Lyons received a lot of support in the comments, including from model and former video vixen Esther Baxter.

On “The Heart Pt. 6,” Kendrick Lamar reflects on the early days of TDE with Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and the people who helped them get their start.

On the last verse, he acknowledges that the group never put out an album because he became focused on other endeavors.

He also took a moment to individually acknowledge each member, which Ab-Soul recently responded to on an Instagram Live.

In response to Kendrick rapping, “Ab-Soul in the corner mumblin’ raps, fumblin’ packs of Black & Milds/ Crumblin’ kush ’til he cracked a smile/ His words legendary, wishin’ I could rhyme like him/ Studied his style to define my pen,” Soulo said: “I’m very honored, that’s my brother in real life. I’d take a bullet for cuz. Aside from that, I guarantee you he didn’t study me as much as I studied him.”

“He taught me the most as a professional recording artist. I just wanna make that very clear. We really slept on the floor for this shit, all of us. Dot, [Jay] Rock, [ScHoolboy] Q, Sounwave.”
