Kendrick Lamar and Drake‘s ongoing rap beef has been the hottest topic in Hip Hop over the past few weeks, and Charlamagne Tha God has now passed a verdict on it as it appears to have simmered down.
During an episode of The Breakfast Club that aired on Monday (May 6), the media personality gave both rappers their props as he declared a winner following a fiery back-and-forth over the past weekend.

“I believe Kendrick is up because of strategy. I mean musically, man, I don’t think either one of these brothers [have] missed a beat,” he began. “I’m born in 1978; I’ll be 46 next month. This, to me, has been the best rap battle I’ve ever witnessed. I mean, the two best of their generation, in their prime — I’ve never seen a rap battle give us this much music.”
However, the radio host also made it clear that he’s not a fan of both MCs tearing each other down with accusations of domestic violence and sexual misconduct, both of which have been key themes in the contest.

“I don’t like seeing these brothers Me Tooing each other over a rap feud,” he added. “To me, that’s corny. Like if you’re going to call somebody a pedophile, if you’re going to call someone a woman beater, you got to have some real proof. You’re going to accuse my friend and my girl of having a baby, and me thinking that that child is mine — those are some heavy accusations.
“It’s not like they’re trying to hold each other accountable; they’re just throwing these types of accusations around to attempt to ruin the image of the other, and that’s whack to me. Other than that, it’s been great.”
The beef between both titans has produced a number of diss joints from both sides within a short period of time, the most recent of which arrived late last week with Drizzy’s “The Heart Part 6.”
Taking its name from K.Dot’s “The Heart” series, the 6 God used his latest drop to deny the aforementioned allegations of him being a pedophile who preys on underage girls. Additionally, he also shut down rumors of hiding a daughter from the public eye.
“I never been with no one underage but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with/ Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected/ If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested/ I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested,” he raps, before adding: “Only fuckin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager.”
Rebutting the Compton native’s “A Minor” taunt on “Not Like Us,” he continues: “Drake is not a name that you gon’ see on no sex offender list, Eazy-Duz-It/ You mentionin’ A minor, but niggas gotta B sharp and tell the fans, ‘Who was it?’/ You thought you left D flat, D major.”

The Canadian superstar then claims he’s been feeding his adversary false intel with the bars: “You waited for this moment overcome with the desperation/ We plotted for a week and then we fed you the information/ A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it/ We thought about giving a fake name or a destination/ But you so thirsty you not concerned with investigation.”
Finally, the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker doubles down on his previous claims that Kendrick has been violent toward his fiancée Whitney Alford and that the rapper’s longtime manager Dave Free is in fact the biological father of one of the couple’s two children.
