Keke Palmer and her ex, Darius Jackson, have reportedly decided to take their domestic issues to arbitration, rather than to court.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, both parties have agreed to postpone their upcoming court hearing on Tuesday (December 5) to take matters up in arbitration.

“Both parties are concurrently filing a Stipulation and Order to continue The Court’s Order to Participate in Mediation currently set for November 29, 2023, and Petitioner’s Request for Domestic Violence Restraining Order, which is currently set for December 5, 2023, to allow the parties time to attend mediation,” read the papers.
As of this writing, Palmer’s restraining order against Jackson remains in place. A new date for the hearing has not yet been set.

Palmer first filed a restraining order against Jackson on November 9. At that time, Us Weekly obtained a copy of court documents in which Palmer alleges that Jackson abused her several times throughout their two-year relationship, sometimes in front of their son, Leodis.
Palmer also claims that the pair broke up for good in late October, but that the alleged incident that prompted her request for a restraining order took place on November 5.

Palmer stated that Jackson trespassed into her home without her knowledge or consent and “threatened” her before “lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone.”
The Nope actor also detailed a number of additional “instances of physical violence” that included “destroying my personal property, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson’s relationship first showed signs of trouble over the summer, when Palmer had a night to remember at Usher’s Las Vegas residency, where he serenaded her with a performance of “There Goes My Baby.”
The steamy clip showed Keke wearing a see-through black lace dress and undergarment as she hugged and danced next to Usher, who had ventured into the audience to woo the actor.
As the footage quickly went viral on social media, Jackson took to Twitter to share his not-so-impressed reaction to his girlfriend’s wardrobe choice.
Just a few days later, Jackson removed all of the photos of himself and Palmer together from his Instagram page.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Jackson and Palmer unfollowed one another, suggesting that a breakup was either imminent or had already taken place. It was also revealed that Jackson had allegedly been sliding into other women’s DMs.
Jackson would later dismiss reports that he’d “moved on” from the relationship, and the pair would be seen getting “cozy” at a Beyoncé concert back in September.

Palmer is seeking full custody of Leodis, whom she shares with Jackson.
